Fewkes is making his second Championship start. Earlier in 2024, he won the City of Perth Amateur in Australia and reached the Round of 16 in the Western Australian Amateur. In 2023, he finished T-5 in the South Australia Amateur Classic and recorded top-20 finishes in the Australian Master of the Amateurs, North and South Amateur in North Carolina and Pacific Coast Amateur in Canada.
