Ko Chit is making his first Championship start. In September, he finished fifth in the Perak Amateur Open in Malaysia. Won a World Amateur Golf Ranking event in Myanmar in February to earn his first world ranking points. Also in 2024, he has represented his country in the Southeast Asian Amateur Team Championship in Singapore and competed in events in Chinese Taipei, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
