Khan is making his second Championship start. In February, he won the Rumanza Open Championship in Pakistan by three strokes over Salman Jehangir. His 2023 included winning four World Amateur Golf Ranking events and representing Pakistan in the Asian Games in China. He won both the Punjab Amateur and Sindh Amateur Championships in Pakistan in 2022.
