Uddin is making his third Championship start. Competed in the Asia-Pacific Amateur in 2018 in Singapore and 2019 in China. In February, he won the Bangladesh Amateur Championship. In 2019, he won a team silver medal for Bangladesh in the South Asian Games in Nepal and in 2018, he represented his country in the Asian Games in Indonesia.
